ClassMarker

Hi everyone
I have completed a quiz making task in ClassMarker and found it to be very user friendly after the initial small amount of frustration in registering.
Great resource with some tests that I could slot in to several levels of Home Ec on the subject of Healthy Eating/lifestyle.
Creating the test was easy to follow, however, when asking a question with a free text answer you had to give the "exact same words" as the examiner and guess who couldn't remember the "exact same words!" So, the assessor needs to complete the optional fields in this section and they would need to be pretty broad.
Having completed this task I would feel comfortable using the tool and recognise the need to understand more fully what ClassMarker can offer.

  1. Hi Sue,
I had the same problem with Class Marker, these resources are continually improving so they may correct it themselves hopefully but until the I think spellcheck might solve some of the problem for children as well as carefully chosen questions. Thanks for the interesting blog,
    Cheers,

  2. Hi Sue,
I like it so much that I spent two hours exploring and making quizzes. I like the idea of storing it and editing it.It means that you can use your quizes according to your class level.Another idea is wen your students are away or transitter they can still access test etc.

You right Sharon, there isn't choices for bigger fonts or spell check for students. I think its great for formative assessment to check were your students are at.
Can you imagine Teacher- Parent interviews? As a class teacher you have your sample test stored?
    Cheers
